Our Founders
Introduction:
Founded by Rev. Sr.Chidinma of the Daughters of Providence, Italy and David Bertelli from Vagamondi, Italy during David and his families visit to Sri Lanka on the invitation of Sr.Chidinma who was in the country to establish a school for the deaf and the dumb - Araliya CCL owes its existence to the support and unwavering commitment invested by our founders to develop the concept, create the market and establish the presence of our organisation as a sustainable and viable mechanism to uplift and empower the lives of Sri Lankan women by providing them with a job opportunity that gives them the freedom and space to fulfil their duties as housewives and mothers while earning a satisfactory income for their families.
The dedication of our Founders to the original vision of establishing Araliya CCL as a vehicle to provide an opportunity for women in need who are suffering due to economic hardships and are challenged by the demands placed on motherhood - as homemakers and caretakers of the social and educational development of their children - has allowed hundreds of women and their families to overcome the odds to live happy and successful lives.
